Monday again.
Right it would seem that me writing on a Sunday doesn't actually happen, this might be because I have so many things to get done through the day that I run out of steam by the evening.
I only managed about an hour of model making and painting this week and being as I'm quite slow at it not much happened.
But I do have pictures of what I achieved.
Still working on Ork boy number 10, 1 left from the box to do.
Now this Saturday coming I will have something a bit different to show, I have a love of wooden ship models I built one years ago. It was a Billings boats "Will Everard", a Thames barge ship. Didn't look great when finished and its long gone, however a recent bargain on Facebook market place got me a model of Bluenose II. A wonderfully slick looking vessel. It is still a sailing boat today.
See if I can stick a picture of the real here.
I have made a very small start on it but notice I need to steam the two centre pieces flat as they both have some warping in them.
Right enough of that or I'll have nothing to write about next week.
Slowly getting the hang of this writing thing.
Guidance excepted on how I can improve things.
Picture time from the past week.
I will include the names of the Citadel paints used.
Front view of the finished body and legs.
Has had washes of "Agrax earthshade" "Nulnoil" and a spot or two of "Casandora yellow"
Rear view of same mini.
Arms for the mini, these have had a second coat of "Warboss green", the wraps around the wrists have a coat of "Wraithbone"
The gun is "Lead belcher".
Axe handle is "Doombull brown"
And finally a picture of the real Bluenose II.
Stu.
